In
consideration of this opportunity to
volunteer at The Voorhees Animal
Orphanage, I agree to the following
terms and conditions, intending to
be legally bound by them:

I
will abide by the mission,
rules, regulations, policies and
programs of the Voorhees Animal
Orphanage while I am considered
an active volunteer.

I
agree to be supervised by the
Voorhees Animal Orphanage
Shelter Director or designee and
will work as a team member with
all volunteers.

I
will treat all animals, other
volunteers, the staff and the
general public with dignity and
respect.
-
I
agree to volunteer for a minimum
of one hour per week for a
minimum of three months
unless I am terminated from the
program. If I am unable to
fulfill my regularly scheduled
hours, I will provide 24 hours
advance notice to the shelter
staff and arrange for
rescheduling.

I
understand the potential safety
risks of working with animals
and that I may not bring
friends or relatives with me
while volunteering at the
shelter unless they have gone
through the required volunteer
orientation.

I
agree to indemnify, defend and
hold the Voorhees Animal
Orphanage, its Board of
Directors, officers and
employees harmless from and
against any claims, lawsuits,
injuries, damages, losses, costs
or expenses whatsoever arising
out of or related to my duties
under this agreement or for any
negligent act or omission by the
Voorhees Animal Orphanage.

If
I fail to abide by the terms of
this Agreement or am otherwise
unable to meet the requirements
of the volunteer program, which
are subject to change from
time to time, I understand that
I will be terminated from the
program. I also understand that
I may at any time be removed
from my position as a volunteer
at the sole discretion of the
Executive Director, the
Volunteer Coordinator or other
Senior Managers.

of 16 MUST be accompanied by a
parent at all times.
