Under the age of 16/Family Volunteeer Projects

If you are under 16 and need to provide a few hours of service as part of a club, class or church, the Voorhees Animal Orphanage has many ways that you can contribute to our mission. You may choose from the suggestions below or come up with an idea of you own! Please remember that we typically  cannot accommodate requests to work directly with the animals for short projects because the amount  of time needed for training is prohibitive.

Suggestions:

  1. Organize a supply drive: Grab the shelter's Wish List at the front desk!

  2. Organize a blanket drive:  Cats need knitted blankets, dogs need warm blankets at all times!

  3. Hold a change drive:  "Change the life of a homeless animal" collect change at school, from family and friends. Donate it to the shelter to help "change" the life of one our our homeless pets.

If you have a special project in mind................please let us know!!!
