Susie
To Everyone at the Animal Orphanage:
It has been about 2 1/2 years now since we adopted Susie, and I just can't say enough great things about her. She has fit so well into our home, and every day we tell her that we are so lucky to have her. She protects our family, gives us unconditional love, and makes our days brighter. I love the fact that she rotates among the bedrooms at night, deciding whom to sleep with! We are so glad that you took such good care of Susie during her long stay with you. Thanks for all you do!

Buffy
|
Hello,
Buffy is loving her new home with us and loves her new puppy friend Rocco, she tires out the puppy! Buffy enjoys long walks around the neighborhood and playing at the park, she went to the beach yesterday and loved the car ride and played in the sand and the waves. She is quickly learning her manners and a few tricks too. Everyone who sees Buffy thinks she is the cutest thing. She is a big kisser too!

Aggie
We adopted Aggie (formerly Agnes) in February 2007. Here we are two months later with our fat, happy dog. We completed Agility Training, and are soon to start Rally-O in May. It's not often that I can look at her and not laugh, because she's definitely a clown. She's full of energy and keeps us on our toes. Thanks Animal Orphanage for helping us find each other!

Andy
|
I wanted to update TAO about our adopted dog, Andy. I've attached some pictures of him for all to see. I meant to do this long ago but time never allowed...
My husband, Bill, and I adopted Andy in April of 2006 and he fit right into our family from the first moment. Andy is doing very well and is a very happy doggie. He loves to hunt moles and dig holes! Our other dog, Bosco, would not be so fit and healthy for her 8 years if not for Andy! He's got so much energy, he keeps her going. They absolutely adore each other and one would never know they've only been brother and sister for 15 months.
I can't believe it's been a little over a year. Andy has brought much excitement and joy into our house and I wanted to thank you for being there, and for caring for Andy while he was at TAO. If not for you, we would never have found him. You can be sure that he'll be with us forever and that he's found a loving, happy home.

Birdie
|
Just wanted to let everyone know Birdie is doing great! I've attached
some pictures if you would like to post them to the website for the
Happy Tails. I kept her name with a little addition - I call her Birdie
Bear. Sebastian and her are getting alone just fine and they play
everyday for hours. She doesn't even mind when he pulls on her ears! She
sleeps in the bed and takes up most of the room. So much that Sebastian
has decided he prefers to sleep on the floor. She loves the water and
likes to sit outside in the kiddie pool. I am really enjoying her as
she is an awesome doggie. I'm not the best picture taker so I hope
these work. Thanks.

Charlie
Thank you for bringing this wonderful dog into our lives! Charlie (the dog formerly known as Bugatti) came from the "cars" litter in January 2006. He now lives in Mt. Airy, PA and loves hikes in the woods and playing at the dog park. He is smart and fun and we love him. He recently started taking agility classes. Thank you so much!

Lilly
Hi Everyone!
We just wanted to send in an update on our dog Lilly. We adopted her from you back on March 1st. When she was with you she went by the name Serena. She is doing really great!
We have renamed her Lilly and have learned she is a Catahoula Leopard dog or mix of one. She is very true to her breed. She is immensely energetic, silly, playful, and charming, but fiercely protective of us and not great with other dogs. We discovered that she loves the water. She is a born swimmer. She just got in the bay one day and started swimming all around! It was great to see her so happy.
We just wanted to share the good news about Lilly. She is fully embedded in our family and looking at a pretty cushy future.
Thanks to all of you at the Animal Orphanage for saving her and letting us adopt her.
All the best,
Karen and Craig

Otis
|
Just wanted to update you all on the life of REX now named Otis, we adopted him from you in January 2004. He's a happy, healthy member of our family living in the lap of luxury. Here he is on vacation with us in the Adirondacks! As you can see, with lots of love and attention he mellowed out quite a bit! We love him dearly! I wish all your dogs could find a home like Otis! We get lots of compliments on him and I proudly tell them where we got him!

Ted
Dear Animal Orphanage,
I just wanted to give you a quick update on our dog, Ted, that was adopted from the Animal Orphanage on 4/13/07. Ted made himself at home right away and is doing great! He loves his new bed and going for walks. He is a wonderful dog and I can't imagine why anyone would have wanted to give him up (though lucky for us!) We even made him a myspace profile! Thanks for helping us bring Ted into our home!
